Northern Missouri and Southern Iowa are a wild bird hunter's paradise. We have an excellent population of wild bobwhites and some areas offer good numbers of pheasants. It is not uncommon to get into 5-8 coveys of quail a day for some fast action. These are 100% wild birds, not planted. We hunt fence lines along corn and soybean fields and food plots in CRP fields and numerous native grass fields. You can bring your own dog or we have dogs available and will show you a great bird hunt. Border Bucks has also added a hunting preserve for upland game birds, we are offering quail, pheasant, and chukar. You can bring your own dogs or we have dogs available. This hunt can be added to all fall/winter hunts at an additional cost.
